CHANGE THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN HAITI
DONATE TO HIS OR HER EDUCATION
Active for over 20 years, the Centre d'éducation et de développement intégré - Village de l'Espoir (CEDI-VE) is a non-profit organization working for the well-being of children in the community of Limbé, in northern Haiti.
In Haiti, armed gangs have taken control and the most destitute are being offered weapons.
Education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty and offer a future to the poorest children.

NURTURING A CHILD'S FULL POTENTIAL WITH ONE MEAL A DAY
For the CEDI-VE team, there's no doubt that a full belly and basic health care encourage attendance at school and promote a child's development.
A child in school is one less child on the street.
We believe that Haiti's development will only be possible with an educated population that is aware of the issues at stake and committed to its sustainable reconstruction.
The more a school is alive, the more it radiates out into the community.

Finissante en techniques infirmières
My mother is a single parent. But thanks to the existence of CEDI-VE, I am a graduating student in Nursing Techniques. The chaotic situation in the country prevents me from doing my last internship, but I practice every day in the Centre de Santé du Village de l’Espoir.
The establishment of a Technical School would be a way out and the hope of survival for destitute young people like me.

Agronomist and trainer
I was born in the town of Limbé, in the north of Haiti. Since 2003, CEDI-VE and UPA-DI have been supporting my education at the Fondation Vincent agricultural school in Cap Haïtien. After 2 years of volunteer work with CEDI-VE, the organization helped me complete my studies at VétériMed to become a veterinarian. I continue to mentor the farmers of Limbé with CEDI-VE.
I would like to thank CEDI-VE, UPA DI and all the other members who make me, today, an autonomous woman, complete to serve the community. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
